Cinque Terre: Monterossa to Venazza to Corneglia
One of Markzware‘s friends, Michael Shaw, editor at MaUsE DoubleClick, updated Markzware, the publisher of FlightCheck software for preflighting, with some pictures:
Just got back into Nice in France from Cinque Terre, in Italy, about ten minutes before the French trains all went on strike !!! We [caught] the last train. We walked two of the five well maintained trails, from Monterossa to Venazza and Vernazza to Corneglia.
Fantastic hiking trails established centuries ago when walking along the coast was the only way to go along the north-west coast of Italy. Beautiful views of the Five Towns from the…trails. If you haven’t done it, you really should.
Apparently, it gets VERY hot and busy in the summer so early spring and late winter are the best times to go.
