Preflight, Midflight and Postflight – Tropic Air

At Markzware, the developer of FlightCheck, the preflighting software for print quality control, we are used to getting a close-up view on many procedures. Flying in small countries allows a view that reminds us to conduct a thorough “flight check” similar to the thorough prepress check conducted with FlightCheck.

On one of our Markzware Adventures, this 10-minute Tropic Air flight from Caye Caulker to Belizé City was a real treat – both in terms of seeing the aviation preflight and flight checks, as well as not having to take the cramped, slow ferry-boat trip back. See the picture gallery of this Belizé flight.

Naturally, this reinforces the need for quality control checks throughout the workflow – both in aviation and print-media. Preflighting is certainly a must for top-notch PDF’s or print-jobs. Use FlightCheck to conduct a “flight check” when preflighting your design files, so that they will land safely and print properly!
