MarkzTools for the dreaded, “Bad File Format” error
Have you ever had a QuarkXpress project go bad on you? Could not open it, was crashing or gave errors like bad file format [70] -70, [39] or [108]? You are not alone and you have no need to stand as such, for Markzware has a fantastic tool for fixing or recovery bad Quark files called MarkzTools. Watch how easy it is to salvage your damaged or dead XPress file via this video demo:
MarkzTools 6 works in QuarkXPress 5 or 6 and MarkzTools 7 within QuarkXPress 7, both as XTensions and is best know for it’s ability to recover or fix “bad” file formats. (-70, 139, documents that crash and will not open, etc.) It also has several other functions, including:
- * Down-Save from QuarkXPress 7 or 6.x Projects right down and into a QuarkXPres v4.11 document type.
- * Open Kanji or Arabic versions within Passport or QuarkXPress english version.
- * Auto-Insure, so that your files do not go corrupt in the first place.
- * Extract text.
- * Fix (when possible) Bad File formats.
Have bad Adobe InDesign files? We are working on a version to fix InDesign documents as well. Watch that video here.
