PageZephyr digital publishing software for digital content search by Markzware has a convenient and helpful Activity Window to help you search InDesign and publish InDesign INDD, QuarkXPress QXP, or Publisher PUB digital files:
The PageZephyr Activity Window shows how many native files of various proprietary file formats have been indexed since PageZephyr was most recently started, as well as the total files being indexed. These native files may originate in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign CS, QuarkXPress or Microsoft Publisher proprietary file formats.
Bringing up the Activity Window
You can view the PageZephyr Activity Window by pressing Shift-Command-A or by selecting Activity Window from the Window menu.
The Activity Window
The Activity Window has three parts:
The Current Run Area (1) displays current session stats (since you last started PageZephyr).
The Stats Area (2) shows the running total of documents (files on unmounted volumes or in folders on unmounted volumes) that PageZephyr is currently indexing.
The Show Failed/Unsupported Documents disclosure area (3) shows a disclosure triangle. Click on it to see a list of unsupported or failed documents flagged by PageZephyr. You can also collect these files to send to Markzware for inspection and product improvement.

To view and collect the types of files in which you are interested and archive them as a .tgz file, select the appropriate Failed or Unsupported (1) tab. If unsupported/failed files are located on a volume or folder that is not mounted or available, their file names will appear in red text in the File List Area (4). Please re-mount the volume, rename the folder or create a new folder and index it, indicating the location, to use the Collect Into Archive feature in PageZephyr.
Select the files that you want to collect and click on the Collect Into Archive button (3). A Save Window will appear where you can name your archive file. If enabled, the Only collect selected checkbox (2) will collect only highlighted files in the File List Area. Otherwise, all listed files will be collected and compressed. PageZephyr will not collect any file displayed in red text.
Successful Collection of Failed Files
A success message should appear to verify that the files were successfully collected by your PageZephyr digital publishing software.
Failed File Archive
Once you have successfully saved your archived failed files, you can send the this .tgz file (1) to Markzware via the Markzware Tech Support Form. Fill out the form down to the Browse button (2) at the bottom of the form. Click the Browse button to navigate to the archived or failed file(s).

Each time Markzware PageZephyr is restarted, Current Run (1) numbers are reset to 0. Stats numbers (2) are not reset and continue to show how many documents are indexed by PageZephyr digital content search.
