PageZephyr can search InDesign documents for content based on your chosen keywords and allow you to
extract InDesign content to publish InDesign to your blog
The left side of the main window in PageZephyr displays your File List and can be resized by dragging the right window edge to the left or right:
The File List shows documents and the stories of which the documents are comprised. PageZephyr treats any linked text containers as a single story in the original InDesign document (or QuarkXPress or Microsoft Publisher document) and treats text container items as separate stories if they are not linked:
The right side of the main window in PageZephyr shows a Storyboard Window, where you can click on a Story icon to view the text content of your InDesign, QuarkXPress, and Publisher native files:
You can search InDesign INDD documents for keywords that you enter in the upper right of PageZephyr’s main window for a content search:
PageZephyr will find relevant stories via content search and insert a short dashed line as a separator between the stories:
To select a particular document, Right-Click or Control-Click on a Document icon and choose Reveal in Finder. To open InDesign or QuarkXPress documents, Right-Click or Control-Click on a Document icon and select Open document, which will start up QuarkXPress or InDesign, depending on the selected document type:
When text is available in the Storyboard window, PageZephyr’s Save button will become active. You can export InDesign as TXT (plain text) or as RTF (rich text format). Saving as TXT will remove any formatting applied to text. If you save as RTF, PageZephyr will attempt to use the proper color for the text and the proper font, which must be active on your system or on the system viewing the RTF file:
When text is displayed in the Storyboard window, you can also export InDesign text to WordPress, Google Docs, Scribd or Box.net, by clicking on the appropriate Post button at the top.
