InDesign Content Grabber – PageZephyr Content Search Software for Mac Desktop Search…
In PageZephyr, the Markzware site search software, you can do a content search, grab InDesign content and edit it, as shown below, for publishing to print or internet. PageZephyr finds relevant InDesign content, so that you can edit, index and extract to create a new document for desktop publishing. This new document can be exported as RTF, TXT or uploaded to your PageZephyr website.
Grab InDesign content and edit it in the PageZephyr Storyboard Window
To grab InDesign content and place it in the Storyboard Window (1), either click on a document icon to display all stories for that document, or click on the disclosure triangle for a document to expose all stories for that document and then select stories in which you are interested.
You can select individual stories from several InDesign documents and combine them by holding down the Command Key/Apple Key and clicking on several stories. In order to combine stories from several InDesign documents, you must open the disclosure triangles for all documents from which you want to select stories. You can also remove a story from the Storyboard Window by holding down the Command Key/Apple Key and clicking on a story already highlighted in the File List (2) to the left of the window.
In PageZephyr, you can add, delete and change text while you edit InDesign content, as well as change the font face, font size and font color. You must export as RTF to see the font face, font size or font color changes, since exporting as plain text (TXT) removes the formatting.
