Q2ID Troubleshooting:
- Yellow Box behind Text
Yellow highlighted text indicates substituted Glyphs. If you have a yellow box behind some text after data conversion, you can turn off the highlighting by unchecking “highlight substituted Glyphs” in the Composition section of Adobe InDesign’s Preferences. - Pink Box behind Text
Pink highlighted text indicates substituted fonts. If you have a pink box behind some text after data conversion, you can turn off the highlighting by unchecking highlight “substituted fonts” in the Composition section of InDesign’s Preferences. This is usually caused when the person creating the original Quark document used a style on a font without an actual font being present, such as a false bold. - Adobe InDesign Crash during Data Conversion
If you encounter an Adobe InDesign crash during data conversion, please make sure that you have the latest version of Q2ID. Please visit the Q2ID Updaters & Installers Page. If you are still having problems after updating, please fill out a Q2ID Tech Support Form and make sure to send us the problematic file(s) so we may inspect them.
