Recently Markzware had a chat with Claudia Arkush who works at CA Graphic Design in Roswell, Georgia. Claudia shared with Markzware her thoughts about Q2ID (Quark2InDesign).

Markzware: How did you find out about Markzware’s Q2ID plug-in?

Arkush: I heard about Q2ID at an InDesign workshop.

Markzware: Did you find the conversion from QuarkXPress to InDesign is seamless and reliable when using Q2ID?

Arkush: Yes, absolutely. My first application was converting a large, messy, inconsistent catalog. It had hundreds of text boxes, tiny type that was force-kerned here and there to bring up a line, and the fonts were not always consistent. It worked flawlessly.

Markzware: Was the investment in Q2ID a good investment for you? And would you recommend it to other creative professionals who need to convert content from QuarkXPress to InDesign?

Arkush: It was an essential investment and worth every penny. My client insisted on switching to InDesign and this made it possible. I would recommend it for sure.
