Print Production Professionals Use Quark and InDesign
Does anyone still use Quark?

From sales of Q2ID v5.5 the Quark to InDesign plugin for CS5.5, CS5 and CS4 from Markzware, it is clear that there are plenty of QuarkXPress users out there. The responses to this thread on the members-only LinkedIn Group, Print Production Professionals, have been numerous. Quark may have some catching up to do, but with new management, ownership, and QuarkXPress 9, they have a shot at it.
Yes, many are going Quark to InDesign. The Adobe InDesign CS5.5 plugin, Q2ID, makes Quark-to-InDesign data conversion a breeze. Here is a comment from a user of Q2ID on this same Print Production thread:
