Q2ID Multi User Licensing (Concurrent Licensing):
Just a short question concerning Q2ID multi user licenses:
Do we have concurrent use, which means installation on for example 30 workstations, but only 10 accesses allowed at the same time?
Thanks for your help
Q2ID multi user licensing is obtained through License Control via Derman.com [Editor’s Note: Licensing for Q2ID is now handled via MarkzControl.], and only allows activation on the given number of seats permitted for that license key. So, for example, a 10-user License Key for Markzware Q2ID, the Quark to InDesign CS5 plugin, would allow ten workstations to be installed and operational. It is not based on concurrent use.
Q2ID activation or de-activation requires Internet access, and the user can “de-activate” any number of users by running the installer and choosing de-activate and re-activate Markzware Q2ID on another workstation, as many times as the user likes. This way, a Q2ID licensee can install the Markzware QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign plugin and convert Quark to InDesign CS5 or CS4 on potentially several workstations.
How to Remove or Uninstall Q2ID
If you installed Q2ID on too many seats, you will need to either buy more
seats, or to remove or uninstall on unused machines. This video demonstrates
removal and de-activation for Markzware’s Quark to InDesign plugin.
