Question: The link I received when I purchased MarkzTools has expired. How can I re-download MarkzTools?

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

Question: Is there a MarkzTools demo I can download to try out before I purchase?
Answer: SinceĀ MarkzTools is a QuarkXPress XTension and not a stand-alone application, we have limited capabilities to control the file from being saved or add watermarks. You can view the MarkzTools video demonstration to see how to use MarkzTools. For products supported by MarkzTools, please see the Version Support List.

Question: Will MarkzTools recover my bad file?

  • You should check the actual file size (the size in bytes). If your bad file is only a few bytes or a few hundred bytes, and you think it should be much bigger, chances are the file has been truncated and there is no way of recovering the data, as it no longer exists.
  • If your bad file has substantial size to it, this is a good indicator that it contains some data, and you should try the Salvage Document feature first. If that fails, then try the Extract Text feature, as this will avoid having to reconstruct the actual page and will just extract the text.
  • If the Salvage or Extract Text features fail, and you think your document has data in it, then please contact the MarkzTools Support Team with your MarkzTools questions via the MarkzTools Support Form and make sure to upload your bad document with the MarkzTools support form, so that we can inspect your file to see if there is anything we can do. Be sure to enter your MarkzTools Activation Code or MarkzTools License ID, as this is only available to registered users.

    REFUND POLICY

    Question: Can I return MarkzTools products that I purchase from your online store?
    Answer: We can refund your product within 30 days of your online purchase, if you have NOT activated or installed it on any system. If you activate MarkzTools, we CANNOT return or refund your product, as it is considered opened product. If you qualify for a refund, please forward your online invoice with an explanation as to why you need a refund to sales@markzware.com for a return authorization. If you experience any issues with MarkzTools not working as advertised, please contact our Markzware Technical Support Team via the Support Form and make sure to send us the problematic file(s) so we may inspect them to determine what the issue(s) might be. Products received through third-party promotions CANNOT be refunded for any reason.
