PDF Ground Controls Sets

Sets for Portable Document Format files are in the PDF Ground Controls area of FlightCheck preflight software by Markzware.

Sets:
A set determines the criteria used to test your PDF document when you Preflight your document with Flightcheck.
1. Select the Set Menu to Choose a Set.
The named Set will test your PDF files based upon the selected choices from each category. PDF Ground Control Sets have six categories.

Shipping with FlightCheck are several pre-built and standard sets that you can use without having to customize your own.

A new set can be customized to check your PDF file for the exact criteria you determine. You can give this new set a name. (Ex. Printer A) Multiple sets can be customized for your workflow.

You may want to run a “first time” client through a very precise test in order to determine every facet of the document. Once the client becomes a regular standardized customer, you could run it through a smaller series of tests by using another Set. You may want to begin with a predefined set as a base and add a few options for your newly named Set.
