ID2Q & Third-Party InDesign Plug-Ins

ID2Q is designed to convert InDesign documents into QuarkXPress. If ID2Q does not understand data in an InDesign file, it still attempts to convert the file the best it can, but skips the unknown data. When an InDesign file has been created using a special Plug-In, many times these Plug-Ins write custom data into the InDesign file [which ID2Q skips].

In some instances this custom data may cause ID2Q to crash. If this is the case, you can always send us the file to review. We may be able to figure out how to skip the data that your Plug-In is writing into the InDesign file. When data has been skipped this usually causes issues with the converted file.

Bottom line: ID2Q does not support data from Third Party Plug-Ins.
