PageZephyr Unsupported or Failed Documents
When PageZephyr encounters Unsupported or Failed documents, it can notify you.
001 – PageZephyr Preference Setting for Failed or Unsupported Documents
To view icons for failed or unsupported documents, select the Show failed/unsupported documents check box (1). In both List View and Tree View modes, this will display a yellow warning triangle next to PageZephyr unsupported or failed documents.
002 – Yellow Icon for Failed or Unsupported documents
The yellow failed/unsupported icon (1) is viewable in both the List View mode (2) and the Tree View mode (3) to show PageZephyr unsupported or failed documents.
004 – What you will see after Disabling Show Failed or Unsupported Documents Preference
Depending on whether you are in List View (1) or Tree View (2), you will see different results after disabling the Show failed/unsupported documents Preference.
In List View, failed or unsupported documents are no longer shown in the file list. Note the missing file icon (3) for the file Biggy.indd .
In Tree View, failed or unsupported documents are no longer shown in the tree list, but if the file is located in a folder and is the only file in that folder, the folder name will be displayed in Red as shown (4). So, if you see red folder names in Tree View they contain failed or unsupported documents.
005 – Viewing and Collecting Failed or Unsupported Documents
In order to view and collect PageZephyr unsupported or failed files, you must open the Activity Window (1).
006 – The Activity Window Showing Failed Documents
To view and/or collect Failed Documents, click on the Failed tab (1). This will show a list of Failed Documents. You may now use the Collect Into Archive button (2) to package up all, or selected Failed documents to send to Markzware Support for inspection.
007 – The Activity Window Showing Unsupported Documents
To view and/or collect Unsupported Documents, click on the Unsupported tab (1). This will show a list of PageZephyr Unsupported Documents. You may now use the Collect Into Archive button (2) to package up all, or selected PageZephyr Unsupported documents to send to Markzware for inspection.
008 – Failed or Unsupported Documents Not Available
If failed or unsupported documents are not available, they will be displayed in red (1). Typically, this will be due to the file being located on a network mounted volume or external hard drive that is currently not mounted. Once you re-mount the volume, the file name will turn back to black and the file can be collected.
009 – Failed or Unsupported File Message
If you click on a Failed or Unsupported file, you will see a message in the Storyboard window (1). These are examples of ways you may be notified of Markzware PageZephyr Unsupported or Failed documents.
