InDesign CC 2019 now supports Footnotes and Endnotes used in tables. While QuarkXPress 2018 does support Footnotes and Endnotes used in tables they are handled completely different than InDesign handles them.
In QuarkXPress Footnotes and Endnotes are inserted into the cell that is currently selected, whereas in InDesign Footnotes and Endnotes are placed below the table in the same container as the table.
So converting a QuarkXPress document that uses Footnotes and/or Endnotes in tables will usually skip the footnote or endnote, or, you will get unpredictable results when converting.
