Could not open exported files with - QXPMarkz User Guide - 1

You may see a warning message from QXPMarkz when trying to Export or Open a file in InDesign.

No Reply after sending the Exported Files

The two most likely reasons for the above message are

1. The job you opened in QXPMarkz is a complicated job and InDesign is taking longer than 2-3 minutes to process the IDML file. Since we all have complicated jobs at some point, the solution here is to be patient and let InDesign complete its processing of the IDML from QXPMarkz.

2. InDesign is open and you inadvertently left a Modal Dialog open in InDesign. This modal dialog is now blocking communications between QXPMarkz and InDesign. If you close the Modal Dialog in InDesign, and retry the Export from QXPMarkz your file should open as normal in InDesign.

Here’s a link to a movie showing how an open Modal Dialog in InDesign affects QXPMarkz and how to address the issue by simply closing the modal dialog in InDesign and retrying your file in QXPMarkz.
