If your scripts fail to run, this is most likely an issue with the macOS Security and Privacy Preferences. You should be able to remedy this problem by doing the following -
- Bring up your Mac System Preferences Window
- Select the Security & Privacy Preference
- Select the Privacy Tab
- Scroll down until you see Automation
- Enable the Finder Checkbox under Adobe InDesign 2020.app (or the latest version of InDesign you see listed under the Automation area).
!From testing here with multiple versions of InDesign installed, the Adobe InDesign 2020.app Finder checkbox actually acts as a global control for all other versions of InDesign installed on your system. For example, if you have InDesign 2020 and CS6 installed and want to use the QXPMarkz scripts in both versions of InDesign, if you uncheck the Adobe InDesign 2020.app Finder checkbox, not only will the QXPMarkz scripts error out in InDesign 2020, but also in CS6.
