It can be challenging to check images in a page layout document, to ensure that the document is print-ready. A preflight solution could provide print quality assurance, avoid re-printing, and save valuable time and money.

Markzware successfully supports a full range of offerings for the print, publishing and graphic arts industries. Markzware’s FlightCheck is the thorough preflight solution to check files for file problems and to avoid printing issues. FlightCheck also provides preflight reports and will package fonts, images, and other print files into a folder, for easier collaboration and sharing.

Preflight reporting is useful, because it flags issues, enabling pre-press operators to check out alerts and warnings. See FlightCheck pre press software in action, when you watch this demonstration video:

The Media Arts Department was proud and excited to utilize Markzware products in the making of its Senior Photography catalogs. Without FlightCheck training and the software itself, this small catalog would have never made it to press. Not only did the Senior Photography catalog make it to press, but it made it there with no pre-press errors, just preflight and print!
– Harris Fogel, professor and chairman of The University of the Arts media arts department

Poor image resolution. We see this issue come up a lot. Just because an image looks crisp and clear on your desktop or printout in the office doesn’t necessarily mean it will be crisp and clear on a large printed item. To ensure your images do look their best, make sure you are using the highest resolution possible. We recommend 300 ppi or higher, at minimum.
