Ground Controls. These include a Separation section under Print. This Print Separation section offers the following
Read on to learn how these preflight features can help you.
Markzware FlightCheck 7.5 Mac Ground Controls:
On – This Ground Control will trigger if the user has selected Separations to be on when printing the document. With separations on, a CMYK document will print 4 pages, one for each color. Most Printers do not like separations on, as they handle the separation into CMYK plus any spot colors in their normal workflow.
Off – This Ground Control will trigger if the user has selected Separations to be off when printing the document. This is typically what you want. Most people leave this Ground Control Off by default, as they only want to be warned if separations are turned on.
Here is a video to show how FlightCheck can preflight print files:
FlightCheck can warn you if a user selected on or off for
Separations when printing a file, plus much more.
