Adobe InDesign Templates

Adobe InDesign allows users to create template files, to provide a graphic design document example, which can be used, in turn, to create many more documents, based on the original layout. A template can save these users (and other layout application users) an enormous amount of time, when creating a print, publishing, or graphic arts project.

InDesign users have had years to create templates and many of these templates have been published on the web. With IDMarkz, Affinity Publisher users can take any InDesign template file and open it up in Publisher, giving them access to over a decade’s worth of template files.

Affinity Publisher Users Can Access InDesign Templates

Affinity Publisher is relatively new layout application and there are .afpub templates being created. However, there are, plainly, more InDesign templates available, than there are Publisher templates. Affinity Publisher users could use the IDMarkz app from Markzware, to access the thousands of free InDesign templates available on the web.

Markzware develops preview, preflight, and file conversion software for printers, publishers, graphic designers, creative professionals, and the like. Markzware’s IDMarkz is a multi-featured application that processes Adobe InDesign files for use in numerous file formats on the macOS platform.

• Drag & drop your files onto the IDMarkz window, in the “Drag and drop files here” section.

IDMarkz Benefits

• quickly processes InDesign files on a Mac
• offers ease-of-use in a versatile, multi-purpose app
• saves money on Creative Cloud subscriptions

Yeah, I think hopefully people who need to do those kind of conversions will find their way to the software, because it’s a must-have, if you sit in a production stream and have files you can’t open, for different reasons. Then, of course, if you can’t open the file, you try to find a conversion tool, and this is one for InDesign files and you have other conversion tools to convert QuarkXPress files, etc.
