Pub2ID v2 Added Adobe InDesign CS4 Support
SANTA ANA, California, March 11, 2009 — Markzware announced Pub2ID v2 for Adobe InDesign CS3 and CS4.
The historical plug-in converted native Microsoft Publisher 2002–2007 files into editable Adobe InDesign documents while attempting to preserve their content, formatting and layout.
“Markzware’s mission is to make it easier for creators and printers to work with the applications they are comfortable with, so users can seamlessly integrate these valuable products into their existing workflow.”
Mary Gay Marchese, Markzware
How the Original Pub2ID Workflow Operated
Users selected Markzware > Pub2ID > Convert MS Publisher Document inside Adobe InDesign and then selected the Publisher file they wanted to convert.
The conversion opened the Publisher content in InDesign, giving graphic artists, prepress departments and printing professionals an editable starting point instead of requiring them to recreate the document from the ground up.
Customer Experiences With Pub2ID v2
“The Pub2ID plug-in has allowed me to stop booting up the PC for that one job per week. Pub2ID makes it very easy to deal with these files from customers.”
Dave Matthews, Progressive Printing
“It brought everything over, including the layout, fonts, graphics and formatting. The best part was that everything was still editable, from the fonts to the graphics and layout.”
Davina Sauer, graphic artist
Original Pricing and Availability Are Obsolete
The pricing, reseller information, compatibility requirements and purchase links contained in the original 2009 announcement are no longer valid. Pub2ID is no longer available for purchase or download.
