Pub2ID v2.10 Improved Publisher-to-InDesign Conversion
SANTA ANA, California, July 16, 2009 — Markzware released Pub2ID v2.10, an update to its Adobe InDesign plug-in for converting Microsoft Publisher documents.
The original Pub2ID workflow allowed an InDesign user to select a Microsoft Publisher file and convert its content into an editable InDesign document. This reduced the time graphic artists, printers and publishing professionals spent recreating documents manually.
Improvements Included in Pub2ID v2.10
The historical v2.10 update introduced several conversion improvements:
- Grouped objects in Publisher remained grouped in InDesign.
- Text wrapping around images worked more consistently.
- Image-scaling problems were corrected to better preserve the original scaling.
- Pantone color names were preserved.
- Custom RGB, CMYK and tint values were retained more accurately.
At the time of its release, Pub2ID v2.10 supported Microsoft Publisher versions 2002 through 2007 on Macintosh and Windows.
The Original Download Is No Longer Available
The pricing, system requirements, reseller information and free-update offer published in 2009 are no longer valid. Pub2ID has been discontinued and should not be presented as available for purchase or download.
