Markzware’s PageZephyr Search Mac software can find specific text in InDesign CC files.
PageZephyr Search Mac is a stand-alone application that can read the text contents of an InDesign file. This allows you to search for words or phrases in an InDesign file. You can copy out the text content found in an InDesign file. Then, paste it into a text editor, word processor or layout application.
Example of a Content Search with PageZephyr Search Mac:
In the above example, the first two searches have been combined using the Any operator. This returns a result if either a filename ending in “indd” OR text containing “lorem” is found.
