Search InDesign files with Markzware’s content search application for INDD (documents created with Adobe Creative Suite and Creative Cloud):

PageZephyr Search Mac is a stand-alone application from Markzware that allows users to search InDesign files (INDD) for specific text, and to view that text. With or without InDesign graphic software present, users can do a content search through the text content of InDesign files located in Spotlight-indexable local volumes, as well as display that text. If an appropriate InDesign version is loaded, users can open documents in InDesign CS or InDesign CC, or can copy and paste text into a favorite text editor or program.
