Unlock QuarkXPress documents with QXPMarkz®, our next-generation QXP conversion, and preview application. Many designers have and receive QuarkXPress files, with no way to open them. This stand-alone application gives you the ability to both preview those files and the power to move those documents to your preferred editing application.
QXPMarkz enables users to convert QuarkXPress 2022 through QuarkXPress 3 to many other file formats!
Often, users have expressed that they need a quick QuarkXPress previewer, not always a full-blown editor. Some have owned QuarkXPress in the past, others occasionally receive QXP files from colleagues. Well, we heard you and are happy to announce a fast and affordable solution!
The previews are based on the internal document data and are representative of the original document. The text is crisp and zoomable.
QXPMarkz enables you to export QuarkXPress files to numerous non-proprietary file types, including IDML, PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and GIF. You can also open .QXP files in an earlier version of QuarkXPress or in another application!
Export QuarkXPress text stories as RTF, HTML, or plain-text (TXT). This is very useful if you need to re-purpose the content of a file but not the layout. Text formatting is maintained in the exported content.

What is the difference between Perpetual and Subscription Licenses
QXPMarkz is designed to make complex tasks quick and easy. Preview your document, then, with a single click, open the file in InDesign, Affinity Publisher, an older version of QuarkXPress* (2017 or newer), other pre-defined applications, or define your own destination application.
Further simplify the process, by configuring the Automation Preferences, to automatically export and open the file, in your chosen application. Double click a QXP file, in Finder, and the document will open in InDesign, Affinity Publisher, an older version of QuarkXPress*, or another application of your choice.
With Automation Preferences, AppleScript support and a Custom URL Scheme, QXPMarkz will have no problem integrating into most automated workflows.
Users who are familiar with our Q2ID InDesign Plug-Ins appreciate the ease of converting QuarkXPress documents, directly, within InDesign. QXPMarkz comes with the same type of integration, allowing users to choose “Open QuarkXPress File…” right from the InDesign File menu. The selected document will be converted by QXPMarkz and opened in InDesign, automating the entire QuarkXPress-to-InDesign file conversion process.

We had some ancient Quark files that needed to be resurrected and formatted for our journal archives. QXPMarkz saved the day.
I have been using/recommending Q2ID for my other clients, which was already awesome, but QXPMarkz takes it up a notch by allowing even more options for converting QuarkXPress files beyond just InDesign.
I was tasked with unearthing and reviving some ancient designs done in Quark. QXPMarkz integrates really smoothly into InDesign and I was able to get everything without a hitch.
Very helpful to avoid recreating all our files in the switch from QuarkXpress to InDesign. Easy to use.
This software makes the joyless task of converting old quark files to indesign as painless as possible. Very easy to use, quick, efficient too.
I recently purchased this software and am so happy I did. I can now open all my old Quark files in InDesign and it's so fast and easy!
Opened my Quark files with ease and didn't need to relayout anything! What a time and life saver!!!
I have a lot of old QXP files which I thought were totally lost. I was able to open them with Markzware. What a relief to be able to read them again.
I have been using Markzware products for several years. I must say that QXPMarkz, thanks also to the latest updates, has reached a very high level. Congratulations to the team, great job!
QXPMarkx works great and many more features than
the last plugin for Q2ID, all good! Converting away…
