Does anyone use Adobe InDesign for KS3 pupils? I’ve taken the plunge to move away from Publisher today for many reasons (#1 Wordart…), but the Year 7 class I’ve just taken is split – half find it difficult but see the use and with time will be able to make very professional leaflets. Adobe InDesign is recognized as a more professional desktop publishing tool. Conversely, moving files over to InDesign could be also challenging. If you have several PUB files and you wish to convert Publisher to InDesign (INDD), Markzware has a neat Adobe InDesign plugin, Pub2ID, for both Macintosh and Windows files. Pub2ID, the Adobe InDesign plugin to convert Publisher to InDesign, is available online from Markzware via the Pub2ID page.
