How do I retrieve a lost License?

If you need to find and access Licenses that you purchased or registered, you can do so, using the following form. Simply provide the email address that was used for purchasing or registering the product. You will receive an email containing the License Info associated with the given email address.

How do I renew a Subscription?

If you purchased a Subscription through our online store, you will receive emails containing the information needed to purchase a renewal, in the weeks leading up to the product’s expiration.

You can also use a renewal link found on your License page. To view your License page, use the License Link supplied to you, when you purchased your product. It will look something like “https://markzcontrol.markzware.com/license/?-xxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx”. If you cannot find your License Link, you can use the form on this page, to retrieve your lost License and access your License Link.

I need to update or reinstall. How can I download my product?

You can always download the latest version of the product from the License page, using the License Link supplied to you at the time of purchase. The License Link will look something like “https://markzcontrol.markzware.com/license/?-xxxxxxxxxx_xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx”. If you cannot find your License Link, you can use the form on this page, to retrieve your lost License and access your License Link.

I am receiving a message “can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.”

Try opening the software again, but this time, right click on the software, while pressing ctrl. Select open from the contextual menu. If that does not work for you, or if you would like to make a permanent change in the System Settings, follow the instructions in the Security Settings PDF.

How do I find my product version?

For our InDesign plugins (Q2ID, PDF2DTP, and MarkzTools) you can find the product version by following these steps. From within InDesign choose the "Markzware" menu item, then click the product name (e.g. Q2ID) followed by clicking the "Help". You'll see the version in the popup.

For our ID2Q you can find the product version by following these steps. From within QuarkXPress choose the "Markzware" menu item, then click "ID2Q" followed by clicking the "Help". You'll see the version in the popup.

 

For our stand-alone applications (FlightCheck and MarkzTools2) you can find the version by launching the application then select the product name menu item (e.g. FlightCheck) followed by clicking "About". You'll see the version in the popup.

What is host version and how do I find it?

The Host Application means the DTP (Desktop Publishing) application you are working in. For instance, the host app for Q2ID is InDesign. If you are working on a QuarkXPress file the host app is QuarkXPress.

To find the version of the host app you simply launch the app (e.g. InDesign) and navigate to the "About" menu found under the product name menu item (e.g. InDesign).

TIP – Always make sure you have the latest free updates for any DTP application, whenever possible.
