Absolutely Invaluable
We have a long-standing client with a large body of literature that has been designed over the course of a good number of years. A few years ago we made a business decision to migrate from QXP to ID, but there was quite a bit of concern about whether or not we would be able to continue to service our client's ongoing requirement for literature updates. QXPMarkz has been invaluable for us; we have been able to gradually migrate documents over to ID with very little complication, so the client has been happy and so have we.– Diarmid Langley, Senior Designer, Breckenridge - The Growth Agency, breckenridge.agency
Essential Tool
You wouldn't expect a horribly named software like QXPMARKZ to get you a return on a few hundred dollars, but if you have Quark or mixed-use software archives that have lapsed from print, their extraction algorithm outstrips the Quark/.Indd divide. Well worth the investment!– Michael Workman, michael-workman.com; Freelance Reporter, Chicago Tribune Media Group, chicagotribune.com; + The Guardian, theguardian.com; + Chicago Reader, chicagoreader.com; + Reporter/Art Editor/Critic, Newcity, newcitynetwork.com; Chicago Correspondent, Flash Art International, flash---art.com
Conversion
Annually publishing a PRICED 768-page catalog with approximately 17,000 prices, when the linkage app for Quark was at its end of life, changing to InDesign was essential. QXPMarkz conversion is extremely easy and accurate. Fortunately, XTags permits bringing the price linkages across, saving me untold hours of work.– Bernie Maopolski, Graphics, w d armstrong, wdarmstrong.com
