I do freelance work for small-town newspapers and the cost of Creative Cloud was getting me down. Affinity's apps have fairly good parity for features but can't read .indd files. Thankfully, IDMarkz SE does, and the converted files are usually indistinguishable from InDesign; any differences seem to be on Affinity's end.
