To fix bad InDesign files with QuarkXPress, this time, we used Markzware‘s:
Q2ID (Quark to InDesign)
ID2Q (InDesign to QuarkXPress)
for pretty amazing results. Today, this tricky file threw a new twist on how we fix bad InDesign files. When you need to fix bad files, like this one that would not open within INDD, it brings into focus, not only InDesign, but also QuarkXPress:
SERVICE TO FIX BAD INDESIGN FILES:
Don’t have QuarkXPress? Still need to fix INDD files? We can help! For a small fee per bad file, we can try to recover InDesign files for you. This is a “No Cure, No Pay” service, meaning, if we cannot fix InDesign files for you, you pay nothing! Just email the file to firstname.lastname@example.org, if the file is smaller than 10MB. Otherwise, email the same address for FTP upload details. Alternatively, you can post the file on a download site, or on your own site, and send us the download link.
You can buy Markzware’s InDesign plugin to convert QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign, via the Q2ID page. See more data conversion software and other desktop publishing (DTP) solutions on the Markzware Products page.
Have a great weekend…
