Markzware saw in this post, “Newsweek Switch from Quark to Adobe” that there are still QuarkXPress users and quite a few at that. Yet this switch from Quark to InDesign (and InCopy) seemed interesting, as we can read:
“Newsweek Magazine recently completed production of its much-heralded magazine re-design. At the center of this effort was their Teambase workgroup publishing system, designed and developed by Agile Enterprise, a division of HudsonYards. Newsweek switched its QuarkXPress-based production to Adobe InDesign and InCopy in a single publication cycle.”

I wonder if they used Markzware Q2ID, QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign CS4 plug-in, for converting magazine layouts? Q2ID can convert Quark 8 content into Adobe InDesign magazine layout.
