How To Open A QuarkXPress File In Illustrator, via QXPMarkz
• Drag & drop your files onto the QXPMarkz window, in the “Drag and drop files here” section.
• Click on the “Illustrator” icon in the top of the QXPMarkz window. The “Open in > Illustrator” feature will create a PDF and then attempt to open up that PDF in Adobe Illustrator.
• By default, QXPMarkz uses the Default Version of Illustrator as seen by your Mac Computer. To force a PDF to open in a specific Illustrator version, set up a mini workflow, under the Export PDF icon. If you like, you can also set up a workflow under the Automation Preferences area.
