Markzware Announces FlightCheck 7.7 Mac with support for
InDesign CC 2015, Photoshop CC 2015, and QuarkXPress 2015
Sep 10, 2015 — SANTA ANA, California — Markzware, the leading innovator of graphic design, publishing and printing solutions, announces preflight solution, FlightCheck 7.7 Mac. This pre press software supports InDesign® CC 2015, Photoshop® CC 2015 and QuarkXPress® 2015 (QuarkXPress version 11).
FlightCheck is a stand-alone preflight application that helps digital print and publishing professionals to check documents for printing quality. Markzware’s FlightCheck provides essential print quality control for commercial printing of PDF and non-PDF files. It can also collect files for packaging into a folder for sharing.
Fred Lee, Production Manager, Countryman Press said, “I can say unequivocally that we find FlightCheck indispensable whenever preflighting our files; it is much more thorough and informative than the built-in InDesign preflight.”
Improvements in FlightCheck 7.7 include:
- improved handling of downsaved QXP files
- support for new InDesign CC 2015 Graphic Cells feature
- support for new Photoshop CC 2015 Artboards feature
“Preflighting helps to avoid overlooking important print items, thereby avoiding costly errors. A prepress team member who uses FlightCheck can ensure print quality control for their workflow’s print pieces. FlightCheck provides thorough preflighting to enable a successful print job, which saves time, effort and materials,” said Mary Gay Marchese, Markzware public relations.
