WONDERFUL trip into Switzerland by clean, punctual trains from Geneva to Interlaken, and then up… by train and cable cars through Murren to the peak of Schilthorn mountain, for a coffee, surrounded by the Eiger, the Jungfrau and other beautiful Alpine peaks, covered with snow and skiers and people on snowboards. Hiking trails look damp but passable.

Absolutely brilliant white slopes and snow several feet thick.

The Rugenpark B&B hotel here provides us with an excellent buffet breakfast and supplies us with boots, jackets, snowgear and everything we want.

The incredible skiing trails go on for miles… and the weather is gorgeous, warm & sunny at about 5 degrees below freezing at the top of the mountain and lovely warm spring weather at the bottom of the mountain.
