Continuing to set the global standard in preflight software, FlightCheck v3.2 now supports the latest versions of Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia FreeHand and Multi-Ad Creator.

Markzware, a long recognized supporter of the leading DTP applications including QuarkXPress, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia FreeHand, extends its support with this latest version. FlightCheck v3.2 now checks for over 150 potential printing problems in native Illustrator 7.0 and FreeHand 7.0 files.
Of special interest to the newspaper and advertising industries, FlightCheck v3.2 also supports Multi-Ad Creator v3.6 and v4.0. Redesigned Ground Controls Interface
Markzware FlightCheck‘s customizable testing preferences, known as Ground Controls, have been updated with a more streamlined interface. The new modular design allows users to focus on each specific area of potential problems. For example, users can choose “Image” and review just the image controls.

Because each application requires different testing parameters, FlightCheck help v3.2 allows users to create specific Ground Controls sets for each of the major DTP applications supported by FlightCheck. Now, when a user opens a document, FlightCheck will automatically apply the appropriate application set.
This latest version adds several user-driven features to Markzware FlightCheck‘s already robust image checking capabilities. New in version 3.2 is the ability to check and collect the low resolution and high resolution components of OPI images, completing the OPI workflow. For professional image editors and service bureaus, FlightCheck now senses additional channels and layers that may have accidentally been left in altered images. Finally, FlightCheck v3.2 now reports and verifies 1-bit image effective resolution, ensuring that line art images are ready for output. As will all of FlightCheck’s array of customer-driven features, these extended image capabilities make FlightCheck the most thorough and comprehensive professional preflight tool available.
