Error Upon First Starting Up MarkzTools2
If you double-click on the MarkzTools2 application icon, an error message will appear, due to Default Security settings for the Macintosh platform.
Launching and Running MarkzTools2 for the First Time
To launch MarkzTools2:
1. Highlight the MarkzTools2 Application icon.
2. Right-Click (or Control-Click) on the MarkzTools2 icon.
3. Select Open from the pop-up menu.
Another Error Message: “MarkzTools2 is from an unidentified developer…”
You will be asked again if you want to open MarkzTools2. Click on the Open button to open and run MarkzTools2.
MarkzTools2 Main Window
When MarkzTools2 starts up, its main window will appear.

• drag the document icon to main window in MarkzTools2, or
• find and select a document, via the File -> Convert menu.
After the document conversion, the IDML file will appear in the File -> Recent menu.
