Adobe INDD content search, using Markzware’s PageZephyr Search Mac:
There is a content search application for Macintosh that allows users to search InDesign content in INDD documents and to view the text. With or without the InDesign program, users can search the text of InDesign files located in Spotlight-indexable local volumes. PageZephyr Search can then display that text. Users can open documents in Adobe InDesign (with the appropriate version loaded). Users can also copy and paste the text into a text editor or other program.
PageZephyr Search is a simple content search tool from Markzware that allows people to find keywords. The found keywords are highlighted in the search results. Click on the highlighted word. If you have a version of InDesign that can open that file, the file will be opened in InDesign. You will be taken to that word in the InDesign document. You can copy and paste text out of PageZephyr Search in plain text format (TXT).
