PageZephyr Search can find relevant text in InDesign CS through InDesign CC files.
PageZephyr Search can:
- can read InDesign CS through InDesign CC files (InDesign v3-v9), whether created on Mac or Windows.
- archive old and new InDesign files.
- search the text of archived InDesign files for specific words.
- copy text from an InDesign file, without running the InDesign program.
- search an InDesign file archive for a specific word with InDesign installed on your Mac. (You can then open the InDesign file and see the found, highlighted word.)
How to do an Adobe InDesign Text Search with PageZephyr Search Mac:
- Type in the word to find.
- Hit Enter. (See files on the left and the file with the highlighted text on the right.)
- To see the word in context, right click “Show Selection in Document”. (With the InDesign version loaded, you can go to the highlighted word in the document.)
- To Copy and Paste the text out, click and drag to select text.
