Search InDesign Creative Suite 6, using Markzware‘s content search application, PageZephyr Search Mac:
PageZephyr Search is a stand-alone program (for the Macintosh platform) from Markzware. This search app can search InDesign files, including InDesign CS6 files, for text. You can view or copy the text to layout apps, text editors, or word processing programs.
PageZephyr Search allows users to search for InDesign text in INDD documents. It can do this with or without the Adobe InDesign program. Users can search the content of InDesign files located in Spotlight-indexable local volumes. PageZephyr Search can then display that text. Users can open documents in InDesign (with the appropriate version loaded) or copy and paste out the text.
The PageZephyr Search Mac content search application:
- Supports InDesign CS through InDesign CC files.
- Indexes content in Apple Macintosh storage volumes that have Spotlight enabled.
- Enables users to search InDesign for text in INDD documents and to view the text in PageZephyr Search.
- Goes to the highlighted search term in InDesign for context awareness.
