Search InDesign CS6 with Markzware‘s content search application, PageZephyr Search Mac.
PageZephyr Search is a stand-alone application that can read the text contents of an InDesign file. It allows you to search for words in InDesign CS6 and other Adobe Creative Suite files. It can do this without having the Adobe InDesign program on your system. You can also copy the found text out of PageZephyr Search. Then, paste it into your favorite text editor, word processor or layout application.
PageZephyr Search Mac, by Markzware, allows users to search text in INDD documents, in conjunction with Apple Spotlight. Users can view the text in PageZephyr Search or copy and paste it out. Users can also open documents in InDesign (with an appropriate InDesign version loaded).

PageZephyr Search can search InDesign CS6 and more (InDesign CS-CC) files to find your keywords.
PageZephyr Search Mac Features:

How to Content Search with PageZephyr Search Mac:
- Type in the word you want to find.
- Hit Enter. (Files list is on the left; highlighted text is in the file on the right.)
- To see the word in context, right click “Show Selection in Document”. (The highlighted word appears, within context, in the document.)
- To Copy and Paste the text out, click and drag to select text.
