Introduction To QuarkXPress File Converter
For Windows, QXPMarkz SE
Markzware’s QXPMarkz SE application allows users to open QuarkXPress files in older versions, or in Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
You do not need to open Adobe InDesign, to convert QuarkXPress files to IDML or to .indd files.
Instructions
The File menu in QXPMarkz SE contains the following three items, which allow you to open QuarkXPress files in other application formats.
Open
Click “Open” (or use the shortcut key combo of Control-O), to open a standard Windows Open File window. This will allow you to navigate to and select the Adobe InDesign document to convert.
Open Recent
Select “Open Recent” to view a list of recently converted files. This lets you make changes to or reconvert the document.
Exit
Click “Exit” (or use the shortcut key combo of Control-X), to quit the QXPMarkz SE application.
